The new Völkl Junior SL R Junior Skis with Race Plate features progressive lengths to accommodate all young slalom racers. A torsionally soft tip reacts precisely and direct, easing turn initiations and making quick turning carving turns easier. A full sidewall, titanial layers, and tip rocker create a stable carving machine for U12 through U14 racers. Slalom skiing is all about quick reaction timing, taking the straightest line possible through the course and holding your line tight. This race ski also features a new Race plate interface with a joint in the center, creating a much more harmonic bending curve. The new drill pattern allows a more direct power transfer, and the X-Comp binding is attached with only three (3) instead of four (4) screws.
